ACORE Names 2024 Class of New and Returning Board Members
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), a national nonprofit that unites finance, policy and technology to accelerate the transition to a renewable energy economy, today announced its new Board class for 2024.
Effective January 1, seven new members joined the ACORE Board of Directors:
- Puneet Verma, Vice President, Government Affairs, Avangrid
- Robin Millican, Senior Director, U.S. Policy and Advocacy, Breakthrough Energy
- Sandhya Ganapathy, Chief Executive Officer, EDP Renewables North America
- Christian Warren, Chief Executive Officer and President, Midflare Corporation
- James Giamarino, Chief Commercial Officer, Ørsted Americas
- Adam Altenhofen, Senior Vice President, Environmental Finance Team, U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance
- Jordan Newman, Managing Director, Renewable Energy & Environment Finance, Wells Fargo
The following current Board members were elected or appointed to new three-year terms: Pat Reiten, Berkshire Hathaway Energy; Mit Buchanan, J.P. Morgan; Himanshu Saxena, Lotus Infrastructure Partners; and Laura Beane, Vestas.
“We are delighted to kick off the new year by welcoming a terrific class of new and returning members to ACORE’s Board of Directors,” said ACORE President and CEO Ray Long. “This group has a wealth of experience that will provide invaluable support for ACORE as we work to build America’s renewable energy future.”
