The answer is simple: There are issues that are far higher priorities than Trump’s lies and criminality. More than half the voters in this country place extreme amounts of value on:
• The supremacy of white people.
• The rationing of healthcare.
• Ensuring that Central Americans cannot enter the United States.
• The rejection of science, especially that which pertains to the climate and pandemics.
• Making sure that diversity, equity, and inclusion, collectively known as “wokeism,” do not become a part of our culture
• Suppressing any technology that might threaten the fossil fuel industry.
As we’re all aware, humankind carries around a cognitive bias in the form of seeking out information that confirms what we already believe, and the author of the meme at left has created a textbook example.
Each line conveys a deeply misleading concept about the political left.
Having said this, we live in a time in which disinformation surrounds us at every turn. It’s an industry, just like banking, IT, and manufacturing.
My favorite: “riots and chaos.” lol
If you still think that Trump is sane and an honest servant of the American people, even after all this, you have something profoundly wrong with you.
Haven’t we all wondered about this?
Obviously, there are limits to presidential power as set forth in the U.S. Constitution, which Trump is exceeding almost every day. But can he rename the U.S. Capitol the “Donald J. Trump Capitol Building?”
He holds himself on par with Washington and Lincoln. Can he put his name on their monuments?
