I post this not to ridicule Rush Limbaugh for his history of substance abuse, but to point out that his life’s work did nothing other than to enrich himself by making our society less intelligent, and more agitated and hate-filled.
When you die, do you want the world saying that we are far better off because you’re gone?
This country has real problems–ones that actually exist. Here, I mean things like poverty, child hunger, environmental collapse, lousy education, and the absence of affordable healthcare.
I tend to vote for the party that is at least attempting to deal with these.

I’m proud to be a dissenter of this regime of hate and ignorance, and I’ll go to my grave in precisely that fashion.
In the last couple of months, gas prices here have risen from ~$3.50/gallon to ~$5.40/gallon. That’s a 54% increase and it’s hit working class folks hard.
Liberals are not “losing their minds”; they simply have empathy for other people.
