From physicist and astronomer Galileo Galilei: In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual.
This seems to be an idea that’s gotten lost in the shuffle of the last 400 years.
As Neil deGrasse Tyson likes to say, “What I like about science is that it’s true regardless of what you believe.”
Here’s an idea:
Give all descendants of slaves free college, with stipends, like they do in northern Europe.
Within a generation, we’ll have millions of young, highly educated black people, contributing to the work force at much higher levels than they are today.
We all admit that the MAGA base is composed of the most ignorant of Americans, but one has to think that even these people are losing their patience with Trump and the onslaught of catastrophes he’s bringing to the United States.
It’s hard to think of a bad trait that Trump doesn’t manifest.
He certainly has pettiness and vindictiveness nailed.
