If any of us had been asked before Trump’s arrival on the political scene how we would feel if the United States government descended into abject corruption, became the disgrace of the civilized world, and wanted our opinion on the incarceration of an American president, we would have dismissed it with a laugh.
Now that it has actually happened, we say that removing Trump from office and sending him to prison is the very best outcome possible.
That’s why 70% of Americans and close to 100% of others in the developed world will rejoice the moment that Trump is no longer a figure in world events.
Sadly, a significant number of U.S. voters believe what House Speaker Mike Johnson says here, i.e., that “God isn’t finished with America yet,” and that “We need people (from the Republican party) of character and integrity,” as if there are any.
But what is that number, roughly?
After living through the first 18 month of Trump’s second term, with all the lies, the incompetence, and the corruption, this number has dwindled to a point that the Republicans are bracing themselves for the worst.

I’m sure some of these excuses are extremely common in the minds of those making huge profits by destroying our planet.
