For those those who believe that it would be impossible for the U.S. to deprioritize education any further, stay tuned. This administration won’t rest until public education has been completely eradicated.
Over the years, we’ve seen many people speculate as to the motive here. The usual suspect is that it’s easier for the nation’s most wealthiest people to remain in power if the common American is incapable of realizing how thoroughly they’ve been screwed.
As shown here, we live in a society that glorifies the very worst traits of the human animal and seems to be on a rocket ride to its own destruction.
Ignorance has terrific value to the billionaire class. If you’re filthy rich, you really don’t want a nation full of people learning that pure market capitalism is, by its very nature, exploitative, or that the consumption of fossil fuels is destroying our planet’s capacity to support life.
The Trump administration and congressional Republicans are exceptionally good at focusing the MAGA base on problems that don’t exist.
What bathrooms should trans people use? Well, before we work ourselves into a frenzy, let’s ask ourselves if this is an issue that is really harming the good people of this nation.
Keep in mind that 60% of Americans live paycheck-to-paycheck and are struggling to afford groceries.
