Hunt Military Communities (HMC) has advanced its Phase II Solar and Battery Project at Hanscom Air Force Base.
The 2.2 MW PV system will enable the community that includes 2,500 military residents to draw 30% of its total electricity supply from renewable energy.
The project involves the installation of solar systems on the rooftops of homes and garages within the housing community, along with a centralized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The investment was supported by state incentives from the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources.
“At Hunt Military Communities, we are dedicated to providing innovative solutions that enhance the quality of life for our residents and provide greater value for our military partners,” says Brian Stann, president and CEO of Hunt Military Communities.
“The Hanscom Solar Project is a testament to our commitment to sustainable practices and long-term energy cost stability for our communities which will provide increased funds for long-term sustainment projects.”
City Light & Power, an affiliate of HMC’s parent company, Hunt Companies, has been selected as the EPC contractor for the project.
The project is slated to be completed next year.

I’m not sure. Starting a pointless and illegal war that has no end in sight, at enormous expense? One that has debased and degraded our nation on the global stage? Crashing our economy for the common American?
Doesn’t sound like a winner to me. Could be wrong.
Maybe a better question is what they shouldn’t do.
If I were one of these folks, I would be reluctant to go on record and declare my support for the man who has almost single handedly brought the United States to its knees.
A little over ten years ago,
- Our country was the envy of the world; now we’re regarded with a mixture of ridicule and contempt.
- We were making our way forward out of ignorance, racism, and hatred of other people; now it’s thriving.
- The common American could afford gasoline, housing, and groceries; now we’re suffering.
- America was doing what it could to protect endangered species and forward environment responsibility; now we’ve sold our souls to the greediest of individuals and corporations.
- We had very little corruption in the presidency; now it’s rampant, and the DoJ has been weaponized to protect the criminal sociopath in the White House.
Again, I’d be loath to attach my name to this shit.
Well, he’s certainly one of the most visible anti-intellectuals and science deniers in our public space.
If you like ignorant morons, he’s your guy.
