I get the point that Minnesota governor Tim Walz is making here, but I would call this an exaggeration. Sure, it a loss for those Americans who value rule of law, human rights, the U.S. Constitution, and decency/compassion.
But as we’ve learned to our collective horror, that’s most certainly not everyone.
Trump still has the full support of 37% of the American public. That in the neighborhood of 50 million voters.
