As Bernie Sanders points out here, until Trump was re-elected in 2024, we all thought we had the guiderails in place to prevent grossly illegal military invasions, like the one we see in Iran.
This has put the entire world, and everyone living on it, in grave danger.
Thought I’d repost this.
Now’s a good time for us all to be a bit brighter, kinder, and more enlightened than we’ve ever been in the past.
H. L. Mencken said: no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public. And that was 100 years ago, so now this is true in spades.
Having said that, there is a limit, and we just may be approaching it, as we see at left.
People are starting to figure this out.

It’s always struck me that exporting our hate and stupidity to other planets is a terrible idea. Given all our wonderful resources, if we can’t figure out how to take care of ourselves, extinction is the only option.
