As presented at left, Americans love to complain about taxation.  Yet most people in the rest of the developed world don’t mind paying taxes, in some cases at higher rates than ours here in the U.S., because they derive significant benefits in terms of free education and healthcare, higher minimum wages, longer paid vacations, maternity/paternity leaves, etc.

Here, Donald Trump claims that mail-in voting automatically means fraud, and that Colorado has a particular problem in that the state has gone to 100% mail-in voting.

As anyone could have foreseen, however, there are a couple of major issues:

1) Like every other state in the nation, Colorado has in-person polling places.  Here are their FAQs.

2) As explained in this piece by PBS, there are dozens of countries that allow mail-in voting.

Do you think the Australians or the Japanese are raising hell, claiming that their elections are rigged, that they are experiencing massive voter fraud?  No.  That’s because they don’t have major candidates who are pathological liars, and electorates that are composed of about 50% gullible fools.
