There’s nothing enviable about the task confronting the five Republican hopefuls running against Trump, especially when you consider the chorus of boos they receive if they’re bold and honest enough to point out that Trump lost a free and fair election in 2020, and God bless them, if they want to point out that the former president faces 91 felony charges stemming from four indictments.
China owns less than 1% of the 3.6% of U.S. farmland that is owned by foreign governments and investors.
Some would say:
Stealing their miniscule position is imperative.
Forget about World War 3, the Epstein files, and Trump’s criminal psychosis.
Let’s get on this, before their holdings grow to 0.04%.

I know there are people hoping to see human civilization destroy itself, to welcome in the apocalypse as forecast in the book of Revelation. In fact, one of my co-coaches in the days our kids played soccer had this precise belief.
When I explained that my life’s work was to halt the destruction of human society, he chastised me: “Oh no Craig! The sooner life on Earth comes to an end, the sooner Christ will return to summon us all to Heaven!”
I wasn’t impressed with his thinking.
