There are lots of reasons to expatriate. For example, some people want to live where their retirement dollars will go further.
Others simply refuse to be a part of the continuing onslaught of war crimes, the protection of child rapists, and the destruction of the environment. It’s easy to understand that folks hate living in a nation of greedy pigs and hateful morons.
If had no medical issues and no children, I’d be writing this from my new home in Iceland, or any of a number of other countries where sanity and rule of law prevail.
The place below is a 40-minute drive from Reykjavik, on the market for $468K. My wife and I would be long gone.

You’ve run out of people who a) are stupid enough to believe any of this, and b) even if they did believe it, many would not vote to keep Republicans in office after having enabled Trump to rape our nation.

Again, even the idiots are losing their patience with this garbage.
Truck drivers are spending large amounts of their own money to drive into traffic-ridden Washington D.C., flying American flags, the banner that has been usurped by the MAGA right, to protest Trump’s nonsensical war in Iran that has pushed diesel prices through the roof.
Hmmm. I’m suspicious.
At left we see yet one more reminder of the disaster taking place in the United States.
Our Founding Fathers made huge sacrifices for us, and we’ve seen fit to elect an insane dictator to run roughshod over our beloved Constitution.
We hear that democracies do not descend into authoritarian regimes overnight. That’s true, but what’s happened here has been quite rapid indeed.
