Many Americans hope that Trump leaves the country forever, or pray that he gets hit by a bus or dies of a heart attack.
The issue that all these folks are missing is this: Losing the opportunity to prosecute Trump for the myriad crimes he committed against all Americans and the people of the world will forever preserve the mistaken concept that he was anything but a criminal sociopath who temporarily (we hope) sent the United States of America into a period of great darkness.
As we’re learning, declining educational standards leads to ignorance, ignorance leads to Trumpism, and Trumpism leads to us to the brink of authoritrianismthe end of democracy.
The Republicans are betting the ranch that American voters can be convinced that the Democrats want government ownership of the means of production.
Granted, we live among a significant number of morons, but this sounds like a big ask.
