GDP is one of the most important economic indicators. This measures the monetary value of all the stuff a country makes in a year. It is also used to determine recession (two consecutive quarters of GDP declines). It is not the only important indicator, but it is a big one, and it says the U.S. is outperforming other major developed economies.
In a related matter, Americans are more confident in the U.S. economy than they have been in two years.
I’m sure Biden and his advisors are wondering why they can’t get a break in the polls; maybe this is the news voters have been waiting for,
Here’s an idea:
Give all descendants of slaves free college, with stipends, like they do in northern Europe.
Within a generation, we’ll have millions of young, highly educated black people, contributing to the work force at much higher levels than they are today.
We all admit that the MAGA base is composed of the most ignorant of Americans, but one has to think that even these people are losing their patience with Trump and the onslaught of catastrophes he’s bringing to the United States.
It’s hard to think of a bad trait that Trump doesn’t manifest.
He certainly has pettiness and vindictiveness nailed.
