The message at left is true.
Everything that is free in this country: roads, bridges, tunnels, firefighting, national defense, embassies, air traffic control, food safety, libraries, public schools, FEMA, criminal justice and corrections, law enforcement, OSHA, auto safety, disease control, the upkeep of our local, state, and national parks and beaches, animal control, space exploration, and dozens of other items, come from our tax base, which comes, of course, from those who work.
This is why it’s particularly obnoxious when rich libertarians say they object to paying taxes. They benefit from being a part of our society, but don’t feel obligated to pay a nickel for it.
One might think that this level of idiocy and incompetence would detract from the appeal of the GOP, but Trump supporters don’t seem to mind.
At left we see the cause of Trump’s imminent demise.
We’re OK on the lies and crimes, but we’re not OK on high prices, and though we’re dumb, we’re not dumb enough to believe that prices were higher under Biden.
Btw, people commonly refer to this as “Obama’s deal,” but several other countries were party to it.
It’s a tragedy that this didn’t happen in 2015 when Trump entered the political scene.
