Sunrun has enrolled nearly 1,800 customers, including 2,000 batteries, in its PowerOn Puerto Rico virtual power plant program, which has been supplying energy from solar-plus-storage systems to the island’s grid since last fall.

The company is the largest participant in Puerto Rico’s Battery Emergency Demand Response Program. When the island’s electric utility provider, LUMA, foresees a supply shortfall, Sunrun dispatches stored solar energy from enrolled customers’ batteries to stabilize the grid.

“The resilience of the people of Puerto Rico is truly remarkable. They consistently step up to help their community by sharing their stored solar energy and improving energy reliability for everyone,” says Sunrun CEO Mary Powell.

“LUMA has already called upon Sunrun a dozen times since last fall to activate our virtual power plant, with several of those being emergency events, meaning outages were imminent. It’s incredible to be part of a program that’s making an immediate positive impact.”

Deporting Illegals — a Bit of Irony and Hypocrisy

Members of a small (pop. 200), rural, and very conservative town in Montana are not happy that ICE has rounded up and deported “Roberto,” a local businessman who came here illegally, “worked his butt off,” and over the years became “a neighbor, a member of our community.” Short video linked above.

“How can there not be a way to make him legal?” a citizen asks.

Sadly, this is what being a conservative is all about in today’s America, i.e., you think abuse is fine, until it impacts your own life.

Why Trump Needs to Be Held Accountable

Published

I agree with Joseph T. Stegall at left, but the main reason Trump needs to face justice is for the good of the country–and the entire world.

If Trump dies a “controversial figure” rather than a vicious criminal, the United States will never recover from the drubbing it’s taken on the world stage and the incredible amount of harm that’s been inflicted on the American people.

Moreover, failure to prosecute Trump would set the stage for the next sociopath to come along and take us down every further. Keep in mind that the next guy is probably not going to be as incompetent as Trump.

Trump Giving America Back to its People?

Published

Answer:

No.  About 70% of the country objects to Trump’s sociopathic criminality.

He’s supported by about 28% of hateful morons, and 2% of rich greedy, selfish pigs.

As they say, “Check your bank account if you want to know which of these groups you fall into.”
