Entergy Louisiana has announced that the company’s renewable power has surpassed coal in energy production for the first time.

According to the company, its renewable energy production totaled more than 1.1 million MWh, exceeding coal’s output of more than 900,000 MWh during the same period.

“This achievement reflects Entergy Louisiana’s unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation,” says Phillip May, Entergy Louisiana president and CEO. “We are proud to lead the way in transitioning towards cleaner energy sources while continuing to deliver reliable and affordable power to our customers.”

The company says that it has approximately 230 MW of renewable resources, including the Capital Region Solar facility, which became operational in 2020.

These were some dark days in U.S. history, but they seem bright and shiny in comparison to today.

Nixon didn’t storm the Capitol in an attempt to overthrow the government, nor did he hand out pardons for cash.

In April of this year, the California Supreme Court disbarred attorney John Charles Eastman. This after the State Bar Court Review Department in July 2025 affirmed the findings of the State Bar Court Hearing Department’s March 2024 recommendation, which found Eastman culpable of 10 out of 11 charges for egregious and deceitful conduct and recommended his disbarment.

Apparently, certain bodies within the United States are still trying to maintain justice here in America.

Statement on FERC Actions Regarding Large Load Interconnection from ACORE President and CEO Ray Long

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Thank you to Chairman Swett and the Commissioners of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for setting the path forward for creating greater clarity and efficiency, protecting consumers, and providing greater cost transparency for the interconnection of large loads to the grid while also recognizing the unique features of each region. The United States is experiencing historic growth in electricity demand, and FERC’s ction to ensure that every regional grid operator sets fair rules for connecting large loads represents a constructive step toward ensuring the electric grid is prepared for tomorrow’s demand.

We also appreciate the Commissioners ensuring that grid operators identify all opportunities to use advanced transmission technologies to reduce the costs to upgrade our electricity transmission system.

ACORE and our members look forward to working with FERC and other federal partners on further improvements to load and generator interconnection, additional steps on deploying advanced technologies, and delivering critical transmission expansion.
