Here’s a question: Why in hell would anyone go to COP30 (climate summit) if it can’t call for the phasing out of fossil fuels?

I remember my interview with Dr. V. (“Ram”) Ramanathan in preparation for my first book: Renewable Energy–Facts and Fantasies. After our talk, he sat down with other people and discussed what actions they would take if the coming COP meeting didn’t go far enough to limit greenhouse gas emissions.  I adore the guy. A true warrior.

Is Our Economy Being Sabotaged?

This from Senior Energy Analyst Glenn Doty:
One trait that is shared among almost ALL of the *PROFESSIONS* listed here is that they are all facing a labor shortage. For nursing, PA, and therapy professions, that labor shortage is so critical that it threatens the entire health care industry over the next two decades.
But the fascist trash has chosen that all of these professions should not have access to sufficient student loans that would pay for their degree.
Note that none of these professions have significant difficulty securing work or paying for their degrees (again, there are labor shortages in these degrees).
The only possible goal for such a move is to strangle the industries at large. It’s an act of sabotage: You strangle health care, and then you can restrict access to health care. You strangle engineering, and then you can justify further offshoring of all manufacturing industry… you strangle teaching, and then you can gut access to schooling opportunity.
The only goal that one could imagine from such an effort is to engineer a systemic collapse.
Very few intelligent Americans remain who can’t see that Trump is ruining our country, economically and morally.
Now, is all this damage going to take effect while Trump is still in office? Not at all.  Take the effects of the tariffs?

Paper from Grass

If you don’t care what you pay for paper, this a definite possibility.

You can make it from collecting and processing discarded pizza crusts, too.  My guess: Paper from grass: probably 1000 times the current price.  Pizza crusts: 1,000,000 times the current price.
