A reader sent me this question and supplied an answer: The United States.
I doubt it.
It’s true that the path our nation is taking is anything but sustainable, but it’s likely that our little bout with fascism will be short-lived. I predict that the common American will eventually realize that the concentration of power in the hands of a criminal sociopath really isn’t serving anyone well, beyond a few billionaires.
At a certain point it will become obvious that the United States needs:
A justice system that holds everyone accountable.
Solid, peaceful relations with allies and other trading partners.
An educational system that enables us to remain competitive on the world stage.
Active participation in averting the collapse of the environment.

Trump Giving America Back to its People?
Answer:
No. About 70% of the country objects to Trump’s sociopathic criminality.
He’s supported by about 28% of hateful morons, and 2% of rich greedy, selfish pigs.
As they say, “Check your bank account if you want to know which of these groups you fall into.”

Teaching Math and Science Is Not Preaching
If you want to remain ignorant of science, that’s your choice. Homeschool your kids and teach them that rejecting Christ will send them to an eternity of torment in hell.
You’ll need to start while their still young, while they’re still incapable of asking you why all the little boys and girls who are born in non-Christian countries are doomed to be tortured forever.
Maybe if you can isolate them such that they’ll never question why the bible says the Earth is 6000 years old, when dinosaur bones are hundreds of millions of years old.
If you want to go down this road, which I call child abuse, you have that right.
But realize this: as time passes and science continues to help us cure disease, explore space, extend our lives, and, we hope, help us to avert environmental collapse, your position will reveal itself for what it is: cruel stupidity.

Professor Brian Cox on Our Obligation to Deal with Climate Change
Dr. Brian Cox has risen to the status of what I would call an “astrophysics badass” in a matter of just a few short years. Anywhere you go on social media, there’s Cox making you think the most profound thoughts imaginable.
I won’t give anything away, but I caution you to fasten your seatbelt.
