Tramp’s approval rating is 42.5%, meaning that almost half of America’s parents are likely to put across a favorable image of the former president.
Now, consider the other option: your kid is in school under the influence of a teacher. Ick. Yes, a college-educated person with a teacher’s certification, perhaps even a master’s degree. Making matters worse, if your kid is young, it’s probably a female, maybe one who cares about women’s rights.
This whole mixture is lethal to Trump. An environment that is led by someone who is intelligent, well-read, law-abiding and compassionate.
Might as well be serving the kid cyanide.

What Makes a President a King?
Maybe the protestors are less concerned about length of time in office, and more with criminal authoritarianism.

Blaise Pascal, Renaissance Man–Literally
I have such respect for Pascal that I considered naming our son after him. (My wife wasn’t having it. Maybe if we lived in France?)
Pascal made important contributions to both math and physics but he’s perhaps best known for his philosophic “wager,” that it makes sense to believe in God, since if He exists, you’ll be very glad you did, and if He doesn’t, you haven’t lost anything. I counter that this is not how we accept or reject religious tenets.
