Here, Scottish economist and philosopher Adam Smith presents one reason that guilty people need to be punished for their crimes.

What this British fellow fails to understand is that here in America, Trump supporters:

    • Think it’s great that Trump’s cabinet is full for Fox News “journalists” and that we’ve renamed a federal government department without the approval of congress,
    • Don’t know that the war in Iran is illegal, i.e., that it’s a collection of war crimes,
    • Don’t understand that costs, financially and militarily, of waging the war, and
    • Believe that either we’ve won the war or that it’s going smoothly under Trump’s excellent supervision.

Their standard of truth is: If Trump says it, it’s true. If it’s unflattering to Trump, it’s a lie, cooked up by a radical left communist who hates America.  Critical thinking is for woke sissies.
