It’s not easy predicting the future, but it’s safe to say that, if we still have a democratic republic here in 20 years, Americans will regard January 6th, 2021 in the same way we remember other attacks on our freedom.
The fact that it was orchestrated by our president–not Hitler, not Islamic terrorists, and not Hirohito makes it that much worse and harder to admit to. Perhaps there will still be people at that point who deny this, but we elected a president who came very close to destroying our nation.
I spend a decent amount of time on social media–enough to see the 5- to 10-fold increase in posts that are essentially long-debunked myths about solar and wind that has taken place over just the past few months.
If you condone abusive behavior on the part of law enforcement, you’re a terrible person.
Simple.
One of the most common arguments against taxing the rich is that they will simply leave whatever area is levying the tax.
We hear about this most often in connection with New York City, where its liberal mayor using the taxes he’s raising the build infrastructure, feed hungry people, etc.
