These guys have been raising capital since they were founded 12 years ago.  Will investors ever see a dime in return?  No.

As it has been shown consistently, small wind is a nonstarter, and the only thing special about this organization is the ferocity which which it fishes for new marks.

There current claim is the low “cut-in speed,” (see photo at right) meaning the wind speed at which the turbines start to turn.  This, of course, is completely irrelevant, since the power generated by a moving fluid is proportional to the cube of the velocity, and so low wind speeds produce almost zero power.

Dr. Brian Cox

As previously mentioned, it’s good to see the rising popularity of astrophysicist Dr. Brian Cox.

In this video, he explains that life on Earth is about 4 billion years old, but for the first 3 billion, there was nothing more complicated than single celled organisms. He suggests that this may be the reason that civilizations are rare in the universe, i.e., that they’re only around for the blink of an eye in terms of geologic time.

To me, it also makes one wonder why it took God 3 billion years to create the first multicelled form of life.
