At left we read what Grateful Dead cofounder Jerry Garcia said about the kind of life that he and his fans want.
Unfortunately, there is a roadblock, and it’s called “unfettered capitalism.” As rich people get richer, they tend to become less empathetic to the needs of others, and more capable of manipulating lawmaking processes in their favor.
As shown here, there actually have been world leaders who were deeply honorable people.
I present the chart at left, though I do so without any belief that it will change anyone’s thinking.
As dozens of the world’s great thinkers have said over the centuries, Don’t expect that reason will have any effect on people who beliefs were formed without reason in the first place.
Is what we see at left actually true?
Possibly, but no one with the IQ of a turnip believes a word that comes out of these people’s mouths.
