New Mexico – The Land of Enchantment

We progressives have our favorite states.

Sure, anyone can like New York or Massachusetts, or the entire rest of New England, but they have an advantage: incredible levels of education, which make electing Donald Trump or some other sociopath completely impossible. Then you have the Pacific Coast, with its focus on technology and entertainment.  Lots of smart people with lots of money are also, not about to fall for an obvious conman whose goal seems to be crippling America.

But, subtracting out those advantages, you have places like New Mexico.  Ahhhh.  Breathe a sigh of relief.  Can you image a neighbor of Texas with any level of gentility?  It’s not easy.

Pleased (but not at all surprised) to see New Mexico in the news here.

And of course they’re right.  Relieving the stress from young parents will help everyone (directly or indirectly) involved.  Does anyone benefit from young people who can’t go back to work because they afford childcare? From poorly educated kids?
