High Schoolers Protesting ICE Abuses

As I’ve mentioned, 2GreenEnergy’s “headquarters” is located in a rural area of Central California, that’s quite red, politically.  I was surprised and delighted when, a couple of weeks ago, I drove past perhaps 100 students at the local public high school out on the street during school hours, calling for ICE to leave Minneapolis.

I have to think that the decision to allow this met some serious opposition internally at the school, and I’m sure that the argument in favor of the move included the notions of civics, current events, the balance of powers, and the First, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments.
