When was promoting my books on renewable energy on radio and television interviews 10 – 15 years ago, I never forgot to mention what was, in my mind, the #1 reason that the United States needed to phase out fossil fuels in favor of clean energy: this transition is clearly becoming the defining industry on our planet. We should not hand China the role of industry domination in this space.

Little did I know at the time that Donald Trump would come along and aggressive hamstring wind and solar, so as to enrich his billionaire buddies in Big Oil.
