As much as I consider myself a “woke” individual, i.e., one who tries to maintain a sensitive awareness of the needs and well-being of others (aka “courteous” or “well-mannered”), I grant that it’s not for everyone.

If the country music world want to remain bounded by heterosexuality, white Christians, Republican politics, how God blesses America, alcohol, vigilantism, horses, trucks, our nation’s flag, and so forth, that’s no skin off my nose.

John Rich’s new single is called “I’m Offended.”  John, just do your thing.  I’m not offended.
