The Stoic philosophers, e.g., Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, were arguably the sages most focused on the practical issues of the human condition.
Remember that you are mortal, and thus every minute of your life should be regarded as scared. You cannot control what happens to you, but you can determine how you will react, maximizing the best in life and minimizing the worst.
Is her point that there are countries that are even more repressive to women’s rights?
Does anyone disagree with that?
The words at left may seem obvious to you and me but realize that we live among tens of millions of people who are completely desperate to cling onto their beliefs that Trump is an honest and effective servant of the American people, however contrary to the evidence this may be.
As shown here, there actually have been world leaders who were deeply honorable people.
