This seems to be one of the great, eternal truths of humankind.

Yet it seems that certain societies on planet Earth are doing a better job here than others.

The United States, for example, seems torn.  Are those of us who care about others’ well-being really “radical leftist scum,” as our president said on Memorial Day?

Wouldn’t our entire nation be a better place to live if everyone had access to healthcare and a quality education?  Wouldn’t it be nice if our country could lead the way towards environmental sustainability?
